Lisbon
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and an exciting city. The cityscape of Lisbon essentially consists of constructions from the 18th century. The center of Lisbon is the Baixa. The old town is characterized by its tiled facades and medieval, narrow streets. The Torre de Belém is one of the most famous landmarks in Lisbon. In 1983, the Unesco nominated the Torre de Belém and the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Jerónimos Monastery) as World Heritage Site.
Lisbon is a unique and unforgettable experience for those who prefer the city and history, but also for those who searching for nature.

Lisbon is an unique and unforgettable experience. One of the activity highlights in Lisbon is taking a tram tour with the yellow tram lines 28E (grand route) or 12E (short route).
The route of tram line 28E passes through many of Lisbon’s finest districts, including Baixa, Graça, Alfama and Estrela, so that the tour gives you a great overview of Lisbon´s streets and many attractions.
Tickets can be purchased on board (€ 2.85 per single ticket) - from the ticket machine or from the driver. Please note that you will need two tickets for a round trip. Another value option is to purchase an unlimited 24 hour pass, which includes metro, tram and bus services; these tickets cost € 6.00 and can be bought from metro stations, however not on the tram. The number 28E tram is the most popular tram route, departing daily approx. every 8 minutes. The first departure in the morning is around 6:00 and the last departure for the evening is around 21:00. The tram tour takes between 1.5 and 2 hours (back and forth).
By the way, please always step in up front at the driver and step off back - if you do it different you will hear loud protest of the driver. Please also be aware of pickpockets when many tourists are in the tram.
